No, not Detroit


While the home above is in decay, the surroundings are too neatly kept for this to be Detroit.  Note the one paper cup laying in the grass about 1/2 way across the frame.  There is a smaller object in the very far right.

The windows are boarded over in this ghettoized southern mill town, demonstrating the decay not only of the surrounding area but of the nation as a whole.

How did this come to pass?
